got this sent to me from another forum just thought i would spread the work as it told me to do lol.
Taken from strathy -
What everyone hopes to be Scotland's biggest cruise will kick off at 8pm on
Saturday the 23rd of June at the Kingsway Retail Park in Dundee.
What makes this a special event is the fact that no one website or club is
organising or running it, with the intention of the night being a gathering of
people interested in cars getting together from across the country without the
segregation that sometimes rears its ugly head at local events and cruises.
The police are fully behind the event and having been spot on at previous events
in their area we are very happy to have their support. There are two magazines
interested in covering the event but since we do not have confirmation from
either yet it wouldn't be fair to throw names into the ring in case they cant
make it.
With the weekend of the 23rd being the longest days of the year we hope the
weather will be good and bright far into the night - an ideal setting for what
we all hope is going to be a success for car enthusiasts (not just cruisers)
across Scotland.
Some of you may already be familiar with the location as it has been used before
by Road Racer, Modded Motors and Dundee Cruise in the past and is the Kingsway
Retail park in Dundee. The reasons for choosing this location are very simple.
It's always been an excellent place for cruises in the past, the police are top
notch and always friendly and the key feature is that its easy to get to from
most places in Scotland (Inverness, Aberdeen, Fife, Edinburgh, Glasgow etc). It
might not be right in the centre of the country but its in the centre of the
country's road system and the drive is a fairly easy one no matter where you are
coming from.

If you could pass this information along to other websites, forums, car clubs
and people who may be interested that would be appreciated.
I'll post up more info as I get it and if people want to make plans for convoys
and suchlike please feel free.
It might seem like short notice but just under 2 weeks is usually plenty of time
and if folks already have parties to go to or holidays booked its unlikely
giving them a months notice would make them chance their plans anyway
**** Update ****
Just spoken with Keith Cowie and he has confirmed that he will be along to the
cruise with his 8.8 second Skyline
He's got testing this weekend and instead of leaving the car with RB Motorsport
he will instead bring it back to Scotland so people can check it out at the
cruise.
If it breaks during testing it wont make it but if everything goes according to
plan then you'll be able to see it in the flesh before it heads off to TOTB to
compete!
