Just been speaking(txting) to him. He`s been pc-less for ages, getting new 1 next week though. His phone also died, so lost all his numbers. He didn`t see the point in re-joining **** cause no one ever posts.

Not sure if i`ll be allowed to rejoin in jan. :banned: :lol2:

Anyway. back on topic or Craig will hit us with some infractions. :reaper: :hysterical:

Due to FCS changing this from it's normal weekend in May to July i don't think there will be a pugscotland stand this year as 90% of us that went last year are away on holiday or it is too close to our holiday's at least next year we will know when it's going to be if they keep the date's the same as this year...?

Completely stupid time to have the show in my opinion! And Rockingham sounded promising too! Ah well since most of us aren't members of the Pgac any more it doesn't really matter.

Evening all. I'm not going to go this year either. Really proper gutted about the date change - what a pisser. May was perfick. I'll miss the banter and the convoying. Was good getting away as a group. :viol: I, I, I love you all, youre always in my heart....

What gives anyway? More punters through the gate in July? Winnits. Show was always pretty crap. Should do something else like go to a show and look at good cars I'd buy if I actually afford something decent or get shitfaced in Amsterdam. Or a gynaecology convention.

im all good. still loving the job, although it does mean the next 6 months in lincolnshire :mad but hey it pays the bills at the end of the month so cant complain too much

hows life in the world of gregg?

oh and for the record, i may have the flag from the fcs pub last year. will need to check next time im home

I got told they moved in cos of a decible restriction at bruntingthorpe which meant they can't have noisy cars there anymore and track action

Hi Niall x. My world is fine but bit pissed theres no FCS at the end of next month seeing as the last two years a lot of us have had a good weekend away. Hows the car? What mods you done? I told Neil last night you might have the flag, hazey recollection of your boot being open at Southwaite services for some reason, before you set off to the cress shaped boaby!

Had a meal at the Black Bull in Killearn last week, it was awful! Things change.

WTF?????!!!!!! they are going to fly a vulcan from there in a month or two! The VC10 a/c which is still in service has noise abatement restrictions at most civvy airports cos its a noisy beasty. The Vulcan in comparison makes it sound like a pussy cat so i expect that is a lame excuse as no barry boy exhaust is going to silence a Vulcan on full chat  also on the cold war day, high speed demos by a bucaneer and victor? ear defenders ahoy, from quite a distance!

awful? times do change indeed, but the black bull did have some nice tottie working there last time I was in. not been there for about a year. Yeah the show was pretty pants but the wekend away was quality banter hear. The car is still living. Had a jabba anti roll bar on it which tidied it up nicely but that has since been sold, "warranty and insurance issues" however the ibiza cupra brathing mods are still on board and thay said jack at the last service so when im back near jabba, i'll let them breathe on it with a big juicy laptop, to improve fuel economy, you understand... You still got a van or you sorted your life out?

i'm still to get a picture of the forest shaped boaby, now as its light when i may be travelling that road, ill take a snap. also, if i do sow a cress boaby in someones carpet then i will also share the love!

Boards

Wheres my 'x' you *******! Lol sowing the boaby hows that work?. I thought you were getting it chipped or remapped? No life must be ****ed because I'm getting a new van in the next couple of weeks!

Yeah I know - that was what was being said just before they moved the venue so I don't know anymore.

http://www.puffun.com/funimages/babykiss.jpg

just for you gregg!!!!!! sowing a boaby? simple.

1. collect cress seeds and arrange on some poor gits carpet in the shape of a boaby. Hope he wont be home for at least a weekend/week.

2. add water to cress.

3. watch cress boaby emerge from the carpet.

4. laugh as it is quite hard to hoover out depending on growth time!

re. chip/remap - obviously i would never disclose on an open forum whether my car was remapped as skoda uk have pretty good detectives and refuse warranty work when they link your sign in name on a forum to your car when its in for work :mad - it happens more often than you think.

however if it was optimised for more mpg courtesy of jabbasport and their laptop, it would have at least 280lb/ft of torque depending how screwed the clutch is :D watch this space for more mpg.

oh and vans arent in these days, unless its a silly overpowered sprinter and white ;) x

08-07-2007, 06:18 PM
Not going to FCS at all this year. Normally only go for the track time, but its a huge increase in cost this year.

Added to that i'm not sure if the car would survive all the way there and back.

Anyone else spotted that the thread is titled 'Fench Car Show'

I liked the traders and the venue and the trakc was great - u could actually see it this time rather than one crappy corner
